Suji Cutlet Recipe | Heart Shaped Rava Cutlets | A very unique crispy mouthwatering snack ideal for tea time or parties and get-togethers. Enjoy these delicious suji cutlets with a warm cup of tea.

Soft from inside and crisp from outside these suji cutlets will melt in your mouth. I love making snacks and you can find many different super quick and easy snacks like tortilla samosa, schezwan toast, pizza paratha, bread katori chaat, corn fritters and lot more in my blog.

Talking about these suji cutlet or rava cutlets, they are made with very few ingredients mostly available at home. Today I made them in heart shape but you can also make any shape of your choice. Also I have used bread crumbs to coat the cutlets and to make these crumbs just break bread in small pieces and grind in a grinder. Do not grind them very fine. They should be little coarse.

I love serving these crispy snacks with various chutney, pickles or dips. It is important that you fry these suji cutlets for little long time on medium heat, else they may not be cooked properly all the way to inside.

I have also posted other similar snack recipes like Rice Vada, Aloo Bonda Vada, Gobi Pakora and many more. Do explore them as well.

Shilpi’s Quick Tricks
  • Always use upma rava for this recipe. Idli rava or fine rava may not work for this recipe.
  • Start making the cutlets while mixture is still warm and easy to handle. Once it cools down completely you cannot shape the cutlets.
  • You can make any shape cutlets of your choice.
  • After rolling the cutlets in bread crumbs gently press it from all the side so that bread crumbs get stuck to the cutlet and will not come out while frying.
  • Fry them only on medium heat so that they are cooked completely from inside.

  • Tried the cutlets, my kids loved them. The best part is you don’t need any exotic ingredients to make them.
