Garlicky Mushrooms: Easy and quick mushroom recipe that can be made in 15 minutes. In this Indian style mushrooms recipe, roasted mushrooms are cooked in creamy garlicky gravy along with flavorful spices. I love mushrooms as they are easy to cook, high in protein and can mingle with many veggies. I have already posted the recipe of mushroom masala, kadai mushrooms, spinach mushroom curry, French toast roll ups, stuffed mushrooms and more. They all are very delicious and simple to make.Talking about garlicky mushroom recipe, I did not make it spicy but you can always increase the amount of chilly if you like. You can also add roasted paneer and baby corns along with mushrooms. They also taste good in this recipe. If you like garlic flavor then you are going to love this easy curry. And if you think garlic is too strong for you, feel free to reduce the amount of garlic. Also you can keep the consistency of gravy according to your choice. These garlicky mushrooms can be enjoyed with roti, parathas, naan.

Ingredients
  

  • 8-10 Mushroom
  • ½ cup Onion fine chopped
  • 7-8 Garlic Clove minced
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp Cumin Powder
  • ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • ¼ tsp Sugar
  • 7-8 Black Pepper Corn
  • 1-2 Dry Red Chillies
  • ½ tsp Kasoori Methi
  • ¼ cup Fresh Cream
  • Salt
  • 3 tsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • Wash mushrooms and dry them with paper towel. You can cut them in pieces or keep them as it is.
  • Chop onions very fine and mince or grate the garlic pieces and keep them aside.
  • Heat the pan or wok on medium heat and add oil, pepper corns and dry red chilly. Saute for few seconds or till chilly becomes little crisp.
  • Add onion, garlic and salt. Cook till onions become slightly pink. Saute onions couple of times in between.
  • Now add mushrooms, cover and cook till mushrooms are nicely roasted. Now add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and red chilly powder.
  • Mix the spices and add ½ cup of water. Let the water come to a boil. Add cream, kasoori methi and sugar. Cover with lid and cook till gravy becomes thick.
  • Garlicky mushrooms are ready to serve.

  • mushroom ki sabzi looks delicious:) I have not yet cooked with mushrooms much but this recipe sure is a must try. Love the step wise pictures esp since they provide the top view:)
