Garlic bread or garlic toast is a quick recipe that consists of bread topped with garlic butter. Here you can make garlic butter in large quantity and store it for later use also. Cafe Style Garlic Bread Recipe
Ingredients
Garlic Bread
- 14-15 Garlic Cloves
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Flakes
- 1 tbsp Italian Herb Seasoning
- 2 tbsp Butter
- Salt accoding to taste
- 3 Pav
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Chilli Flakes
- Seasoning Herbs
Cheese Dip
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 pinch Black Pepper Powder
- 1-2 cubes Mozzarella Cheese/ Processed Cheese
- Salt accoding to taste
Instructions
Garlic Bread
- Add garlic cloves, red chilli flakes, Italian herbs, salt and crush in a mortar.
- Add in butter and mix it well to make garlic butter.
- Cut pav vertically/sideways.
- Add garlic butter on one side of the bread and keep it aside.
- Heat a non-stick pan on low flame.
- Put the garlic bread down butter side first and let it cook for a few minutes.
- Flip the bread and add in grated Mozzarella Cheese.
- Cover and cook till the cheese melts.
- Garnish with herbs and chilli flakes.
Cheese Dip
- In a pan add butter and let it melt.
- Add in all purpose flour and fry till it cooks.
- Switch the gas off and let it cool down for a minute.
- Slowly add in milk and keep on stirring.
- Now turn on the heat and let it cook until sauce gets thick.
- Add in salt and pepper.
- Next add in cheese cubes and mix it well.
- Once cooked turn off the heat and keep it aside.

Notes
- Make the mixture coarse
- Don’t add too much salt as the butter is already salted
- Press the bread gently to make sure that the heat is applied thoroughly through the bread.
- Let mixture cool to avoid formation of lumps
- Don’t make sauce too thick as it thickens after cooling down
