Moong Dal Paneer Protein Sandwich Recipe | Crispy toast made with the combination of moong dal and paneer. I usually make these paneer moong sandwich for breakfasts and even for the evening snacks.

Moong dal sandwich is one of those snacks that keeps you filled for long time. Paneer moong sandwich as name suggest is very healthy, nutritious and made without bread. This sandwich is very easy to make. This moong dal paneer sandwich is very good for diabetic patients, if you have high cholesterol or if you are on diet as it is rich in fiber and protein and low in calories.

Moong Dal Sandwich

Ingredients
  

Moong Dal Batter

  • ¾ cup Yellow Moong Dal soaked overnight or 3-4 hours
  • ½ inch Ginger
  • 1-2 Green Chilli
  • Water
  • Salt
  • ½ tsp Eno Fruit Salt/ Baking Soda

Stuffing

  • ½ cup Paneer grated
  • ¼ cup Onion fine chopped
  • ¼ cup Tomato fine chopped & deseeded
  • ¼ cup Frozen Corn
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves fine chopped
  • 2 Green Chilli fine chopped
  • Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt

Instructions
 

Moong Dal Batter

  • In a grinder add moong dal, ginger, chilli, little water and grind to make a paste.
  • Next add dal and whip for 2 minutes.
  • Now add eno powder and mix well quickly.

Stuffing

  • In a bowl add all the stuffing ingredients and mix well till everything binds well together.

Moong Dal Sandwich

  • Grease sandwich toaster with oil.
  • Appy a thin layer of batter on one side and then add a generous amount of stuffing in it.
  • Next apply a thin layer on top of the stuffing cover and cook for 2-3 minutes from each side on lowest flame.
  • Next turn off the heat and serve it.
