Broccoli Saag

Ingredients
  

  • cups Broccoli chopped
  • 2 cups Spinach Bunch
  • 7 Garlic Clove
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 Green Chilli
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes
  • 1 tsp Whole Wheat Flour
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Butter

Instructions
 

  • In pressure cooker add chopped broccoli, roughly chopped spinach and take 2 whistles.
  • After two whistles switch off the heat and let the pressure cooker cool down. Once the pressure cools down, take the spinach and broccoli out and grind it to coarse mixture. Put this mixture back in the pressure cooker.
  • Cook the saag for 5-6 minutes stirring couple of times. After 5-6 minutes add whole wheat flour, mix well and cook it for couple of minutes. Switch off the heat and keep it aside.
  • To make tadka, make coarse mixture of garlic, ginger and chilly. Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic chilly mixture and cook till raw smell of garlic is gone.
  • Now add chilly flakes and stir it for few seconds. And now add saag to this mixture and cook it for a minute. Garish it with a dollop of butter. Saag is ready to serve.
