Suji Paneer Nuggets

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Corn crushed
  • 1 Onion fine chopped
  • ½ cup Suji
  • 1 cup Paneer grated
  • Coriander Leaves fine chopped
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 3 Bread Slices
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes
  • 1 tsp Mix Herbs
  • 3 tbsp All-purpose Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Water

Instructions
 

Dough

  • In a pan add in cumin seeds and let on roast on low flame for a few minutes.
  • After cumin is roasted add milk, red chilli flakes, crushed black pepper, onion, rava/suji, paneer, coriander leaves, salt, oil and mix well.
  • Cook till the batter gains consistence of a dough. Once mixture leaves sides on the pan means it is cooked.
  • Now remove the mixture on a greased steel plate. After taking the dough out on a greased plate, spread the dough on the plate with a spatula while keeping the shape as square.
  • Now let it cool down completely. After cooling down cut square pieces of it and keep it aside.

Bread Crumbs

  • In a grinder add breads and make a coarse powder of it. Transfer on a plate add chilli flakes, mix herbs and mix it well.

Batter

  • In a bowl add all-purpose flour, salt and mix well. Now add little water at a time and make a smooth and thin paste of it.

Suji Paneer Nuggets

  • Take one piece of the square dough, dip it in the batter nicely then roll it in bread crumbs so that it gets covered in bread crumbs completely.
  • Press gently between the palms and smooth out all the edges. Repeat the process with all the square dough pieces.
  • In a pan add oil and let it heat on medium high. Drop the nuggets in oil and fry on medium high till crisp and golden brown from both the sides.

Notes

Shilpi’s Quick Tricks
  1. Use milk at kept at room temperature.
  2. You can use more vegetables of your choice if you want.
  3. Make sure all the sides and the top are smooth or else will break while cooking.
