Instructions
Mixture
In a non-stick pan add melted ghee, besan mix and let it cook on low flame for 20 minutes.
Press the besan with a spatula so that it absorbs the ghee properly.
Keep cooking till besan becomes loose and dark.
Once besan becomes darker in color and loose then add cardamom powder, pista, cashew and almond powder, mix everything well and turn off the heat.
Transfer in the bowl and let it cool down till it becomes lukewarm.
Besan Pista Rolls
Once the mixture is cool add sugar in batches while mixing it continuously.
Now mix the mixture with hands and make a dough of it.
Now let it rest in the fridge for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes take a small portion and make a cylindrical shape of it by rolling between hands.
Now on a board or plate spread fine chopped pista and gently roll the besan roll on it so that the pista presses in the besan roll.
Even out the edges and decorate with silver foil.
Leave at room temperature for 4-5 hours for the rolls to harden.
