Heat a pan and add ghee.
Once ghee is a bit hot add cumin seeds, ginger, garlic, green chilli and mix well.
Now add onion and cook till onion becomes pink.
Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, tomato, salt.
Mix and cook till tomatoes are mushy.
Now add water and cook till tomatoes leaves oil from it.
After oil is released add dal, garam masala powder, coriander leaves,lemon juice and mix well.
Boil for 2 minutes and set it aside.
