or ½ tsp baking soda + ½ tsp lemon juice
Instructions
Heat a pan on medium high and add urad dal in it.
Add fenugreek seeds, mix and roast for 2-3 minutes.
After 2-3 minutes turn off the heat add poha in it and roast with heat off.
Once the mixture is cool transfer into a grinder add sugar and make a fine powder of it.
After grinding sieve the powder then add rice flour and mix well.
Store in clean, dry glass bottle in fridge for longer shelf life.
How to make Idli from Idli Powder
In a bowl add idli powder, salt, curd and mix well.
Now add water slowly to make a smooth batter.
Cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
After 10 minutes add eno fruit salt and mix well.
Fill the batter in greased idly tray & steam for 10-15 minutes.
