Chaat Masala

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Cumin Seeds
  • 3 tbsp Black Pepper Corn
  • 2 tbsp Black Salt
  • ½ tsp Asafoetida
  • tsp Nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 20-25 Mint Leaves
  • ½ tsp Dry Ginger Powder
  • ½ tsp Citric Acid
  • 2 tbsp Dry Mango Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder

Instructions
 

  • In a pan dry roast cumin seeds on a low heat and keep stirring to avoid burning.
  • Once cumin is crisp add black pepper corn and roast for a while.
  • After roasting transfer it to a bowl and let it cool down completely.
  • In the same pan add mint leaves and dry roast on a low flame till crisp.
  • Once leaves are crisp turn off the heat but keep stirring the leaves in it.
  • To make chaat masala add all the ingredients in a grinder and grind to make a fine powder.
  • After grinding take a sieve and sieve masala through it.
