In a large pan add ghee, gram flour, suji and roast on medium-low flame for 10-15 minutes.
Keep stirring in between.
After 10-15 minutes add little cardamom powder and mix again.
Now add sugar and cook for 5-6 minutes.
After 6 minutes add milk and roast for few more minutes.
Now add water and give a good mix.
Cook till halwa releases ghee and leaves sides.
Add chopped nuts and mix again.
